Why not nuclear power - France get's most of its power from nuclear power! Why not drill for more oil like Norway did in the 70s? Why not do it all? But why do liberals want to tax emissions? We all know the burden will come down to you and i in the form of higher energy taxes - which can make it harder to run a business or live ur normal life. Remember the failure of Windfall taxes? What is it with liberals and the panic over climate change?
Once the United States enacts laws to increase their control on climate change emissions, we will enjoy a better earth. Don't you think we should pay for China and other industrial nations (like India) to be clean as well? The only reason they don't want to be green is because it would cost them trillions and cause the prices of their products to skyrocket. Don't you think the United States should pay so poorer countries don't have to? President Obama could even setup a Czaar to insure that countries like Iran, North Korea, and Russia are using the $4 billion dollar check we give them each month for appropriate purposes (those that promote a green earth).

Shouldn't the USA pay for China and other nations to be green?
I have a series of questions. Can you help? If you averaged all income among all americans both working and non-working, what is average? What is the average income for all Americans that are working? How much does the government spend on average per person and then per worker? I am just trying to figure out how any health care reform (considering it has a government backed option) can be paid for if we already have these deficits and the national debt is so high already. I just don't see how it can be paid for and why would you trust your government with more of your wealth and rights when they have wasted what we have been giving them already? And then how about cap-and-trade and how can we pay for that or any treaty on climate change? I think our boys in DC are confused and don't understand what deficit means and what national debt means? It is time. It is time PURGE DC 11/2/10 and 11/6/12To the first response... Dude...In 1990 or so the national debt was ~3 trillion and when Bush took office is was ~6 trillion. I think you are confusing debt with deficits and using them interchangeably The debt has been over $1 trillion or so since 1980.

Why are the words global warming being transformed into climate change?
I am a native Iraqi and I've never seen snow before until last year, when it snowed for the first time in Baghdad. And now it's snowing again and this time the snow is heavier. Why do you think is it snowing in Iraq while it has never done this before? Do you think the climate in the Middle East/south-west Asia is changing? Note: I know that northern Iraqis from Erbil are familiar with snow because that area is mountainous, but I'm wondering about central and southern Iraq, and the rest of the Middle East.
