I broke up with my girlfriend two years ago. We dated for about six months. It was a long distance relationship. But it was pretty serious - after I broke up with her, I regretted it, and said I wanted to get back together. She said that she was really hurt, that she had been thinking of us as eventually getting married. So two years go by. A couple of months ago, I contacted her, and after a few conversations, told her that I wanted to give it another try. She told me that she was confused, and that she didn't think things could ever go back to how they used to be. But I persisted in contacting her, and we got to the point where we were emailing and phoning almost every day. I made plans to visit her (she lives a bit far away). She brought up things to do together, like go ice skating, taking a day trip together, etc. We also stuff that we had done together when we were dating, in a happy tone. Basically, she seemed to be looking forward to our time together. So, things were going well, until the other day, on the phone, I accidentally called her by the name of another ex-girlfriend. I didn't even notice until she asked me who [name of other ex] was. Their names are very similar. It was an honest mistake. Anyway, I told her that it was nobody important. The conversation fizzled out, and we hung up. So, the next day, I get an email basically saying that she feels a bit uncomfortable with me coming to visit. She also said that she doesn't consider us to be in a relationship. Basically, I take this to mean that she was starting to feel comfortable in trusting me again, but that slip-up by me made her scared. I'm serious about her, and I want to show that I'm not going to break her heart again. Obviously there are some big trust issues. What do I do?

I live in an extremely affluent area with a lot of wealthy people, but other girls at my school always consider me one of the wealthiest, which is shocking because I always think "look around, look at what you have!" My school's tuition is $30,000 annually, I have two brothers and their tuition is the same as mine. I have an 8,000 square foot beach house in Martha's Vineyard (valued at $10m). We have a Hawker Jet and a Lier Jet, we vacation to this small Caribbean Island named Mustique every Spring Break, we own several cars: 2 Lexus SUVs, 1 Ferrari Convertible, 1 Lexus Convertible, 1 BMW Convertible, 1 Range Rover, 1 Land Rover (although we only keep the 3 Lexus' and the Ferrari at our house, the others are for our Martha's Vineyard house). Our old house was 10,000 square feet and valued at $5m, but we moved into a 33,000 square foot house (I'm not sure what the value was). We own a company limousine with a driver, as well as a personal chef, in-house manager, full-time housekeeper, and we had 2 live-in nannies until I was 10 years old. I wear mostly Ralph Lauren and Abercrombie. My purses are Louis Vuitton or Gucci. My father made $20m annually, at the peak of his career. Wow. Writing it all out, it seems like a lot, but I hate buying things with obnoxious labels on them, I don't tell anyone I know in person about what I own, I work hard in school, I do charity work, I have a lot of friends whom I love to death, I have a boyfriend too.. It's not like I flaunt my wealth, plus I don't actually live the easiest life. My father died in a plane accident 3 years ago and my mother drinks way, waay too much. My mother is NEVER around, ever. I'm not as happy as one would think and without my friend's I can't even imagine a reason for living. So why do people consider my family wealthy? I mean, we have material things but I don't ever brag and it's not like I'm wealthy on happiness.. So what is your opinion?I'm not spoiled.. I don't get things I want, ever. I don't have an allowance, I don't get birthday presents nor Christmas presents from my family, it's not like we throw away money: I turn off the lights after I leave any room, we don't blast the heat, I get in trouble for buying iTunes when I haven't asked first, etc.. Ok I know it seems stupid...but has anyone else noticed the WWE hyping anything Hardy lately? I mean I know they put out the DVD and probably just want it to sell..but CM Punk's goin around bragging about ending his career..Jeff won a Slammy...idk...seems a little hyped up for just a DVD set to me. And yes...I know he got arrested and all that...but that wasn't the reason he left WWE...they had given him a hiatus to let his neck and back injuries heal months before he got arrested...so in theory he should still be on at least decent terms with Vince and the WWE. Plus...whenever his name is mentioned people freak out. I'm just sayin that I smell the possibility of a surprise return at some point...I'm probably wrong..but weirder things have happened.
